Following the intervention of the State Commission for Women, the Karnataka government has established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter further.
New cases have emerged in the sex tapes scandal involving JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna and his father, former Karnataka minister HD Revanna. These fresh cases include charges of rape and kidnapping filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Karnataka Police. The charges, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act, encompass allegations such as repeated rape, criminal intimidation, demand for sexual favors, assault with intent to disrobe, and uploading of nude pictures and videos.
